Hey,first time posting here just looking for a bit of advice.

My car just failed on emissions

    Low idle: co 0.25 @ hc 90pp

    High idle: co 0.45 @ hc 35ppm

Is there any tips to get it down for the re test?

Make sure the car nice and hot when you get it to the centre. You could try a product like Cataclean too.

What was the lambda reading like?

AFAIK a High Co with normal hc usually means air starvation as it's running rich so a good service required.

Either that or a bad cat. Lambda reading should tell us though ;)

Post a picture of the readings including make and model of the car if possible.

Give it a good service with a new air filter/plugs and retest, if it still fails you are probably looking at a new cat.

It's probably cat anyway. That co reading with good lambda readings is almost always the cat.
