Are you looking for a known brand or the cheapest thing available?

Also looking for a good deal on mid-range tyres in the Dublin area (D7 based) 225/45/17. Anyone know of any good value offers or that has done some research before purchasing?
It's impossible to compare tyre centres as none appear to list prices even if they have a website. Who's generally good for value, have heard Dave McCann in Blanch mentioned before but anyone know specifics with prices without having to phone each and every outlet?

I got a set of 4 BF Goodrich G'Grip tires (220 R15 65) for 62.50 a corner at Mid-West tyres on the dock road. Balancing, tracking, and new valves included in the price.

Victory Tyres on the corner of Clare Street and Lelia street have always looked after us well.

+1, Paul gives good advice and does great service, highly recommended and competitive on tyres and tracking. No affiliation just a satisfied customer.

OP as I posted in your other thread over in the Limerick Forum:

That is not a very common size tyre so alot of tyre centres probably don't stock them due to little or no demand. I find that when it comes to large or uncommon size tyres the best options and prices are from buying online. These Falken's are probably the cheapest in that size of the decent budget brands:
    http://www.oponeo.ie/details-tyre/fa...-95-w#90303868

or if you are happy to go premium then these:
    http://www.oponeo.ie/details-tyre/yo...-w-kz#89815652

You will then need to find a tyre centre that will fit tyres you didn't buy from the them (not all of them will) and allow a further €40 or €50 for fitting, balancing, new valves and disposing of your old tyres.

Remember anything decent in that size is going to cost money but as said be prepared to be offered cheap unheard of brands that just about fit the criteria of being round and made of rubber.

midwest types are now at the parkway roundabout, used to be parkway tyres. Bought 4 goodyear runflats, same price as openeo when fitted and balanced

Limerick Tyre Centre, opposite the Co-op Raheen. I've found them good before.
