Could take up to three years to get money depending on the case, each one is different. If they suspect any fraud it will be dragged out for a s long as possible with the hope that the third party will give up.

A good while ago a local guy was in court for a claim which supposed left him on walking sticks, the judge went in his favour awarding £xxxxx when the guy jumped up happy as could be and went walking perfect out of court needles to say the judge was not impressed

In my experience fighting a fraudulent case is not worth it, the only person that's gonna get screwed in the end is going to be yourself. It just drags on and on for years.

I think my solicitors keeping forgetting about it, because I've done the same stuff 3 different times (appointments/forms)

If your injuries have resolved, they might make a decision on it sooner rather than later. If your injuries have not resolved, then they have up to a year from the submission date to make a call on it. At that point, they may decide to recommend a number, or depending if it's reasonably complicated, might release it for you to pursue in the courts. If that happens, grow plenty patience...

It's been said many times before here though, if your injuries have not resolved, don't be in a hurry to settle unless you are absolutely sure of the long term prognosis.
