    A 2005 car, nct expires 25 july. If it is tested in june will the cert be for 1 or 2 years?

    If it passed the test before the 24 April, it would get 2 years from date of test otherwise 1 year test valid to anniversary date

    Aye 1 year, for 2 it needed to be done more than 3 months before its due date.

    From my calculations, latest date for 2 years would be 25th April as this would be last date of Voluntary early test.
    26th April would be already within 90 days before due date.
