UPC broadband and TV outlet

I ordered UPC broadband through the boards offer. It said there was free installation but turns out what they meant was no installation. I just got a box delivered by with a modem and cables.

Problem is I don't have a UPC access point. There's a cable that the TV is connected to, I think its an old chorus package or something. So I assume it comes in from that.

The way its set up here though is that that cable going to the TV is split and run into all the rooms in the house. So I have a TV outlet like for an AV cable I guess you'd call it (can't post images) in my room. And I wan't to connect the modem to that I guess with a converter of some kind to allow me to connect the coaxial cable from the router.

Question is will this be suitable for broadband ? Its all just copper cable coming from the same place when it boils down to it right ?
