    Just wondering can you take normal shop bought sunglasses into specsavers,and get new prescription lens put into them, and what might it cost?

    No, prescription lenses are huge in comparison.

    Yes you can but generally the quality is not as good as acetate plastic frames you get in opticians. Anybody who is handy in a glazing lab will do it for you.

    My optician had no problem putting high index lenses into a pair of raybans new style wayfarers for me. It may depend on the quality of the frame though.
