E91 boot lid gas struts, Cork

    One or both of the struts are gone on the full bootlid. I'll be replacing both. Anyone know where in cork I could get replacements besides going to Kearys?

    I got some before for a car on Ebay, not sure what motor factors if any would stock them. I wouldn't risk picking any up in a breakers, you won't know what condition they are in, could be already leaking.

    Yeah I'll be getting new ones only. Just checking if there's somewhere local I might pick them up before getting them online.

    I don't know the factors in Cork but anyone should be able to order them for you. Check if there is a local dealer, they should have them too.

    If it's not urgent just get online from micks garage or similar.
