Hey, I'm interested in this course and have a few questions about it.
1.To practice as a podiatrist do you have to get a phD?, if yes how do you get onto the phD course as there's no masters course? (AFAIK)
2.Is getting the Bsc and then phD the same as doing medicine and specialising in podiatry?
    3.Are the employment prospects good?
If you can answer any of these questions I'd really appreciate your advice, thanks :) .

I'm not a podiatry student, but my best friend is.

    1) You can practice as a podiatrist from when you graduate, you don't need to do a PhD.
    2) Nope. It's a degree which means you are ONLY certified to work with feet, it's not like a medical degree where you can then change your specialty if you wish. It's a bit like getting a Bsc in dentistry.
    3) Generally podiatrists are self employed.
