I have a job to do for my sister in county kerry and its fitting a new shower tray and quad door but i have a problem with a window. You see, its an ensuite bathroom and the bathroom as is, is a mosaic tiled floor and power shower but she wants all tiles changed and a new quad shower. the back wall is 1500mm with a window right bang in the middle of the room and if i install the quad shower door, im going to be 4 inches into the window. Ive tried talking her into just renewing the mosaic tiles but shes adament she wanst this shower in.

What i want to know, is there anything on the market that i could do to fill this 4inch in space in so i can screw the shower surround into because right now im sitting scrathing my head about what to do for this void.

Is changing the ensuite into a wet room a non runner?
Or maybe a bigger tray with just a glass panel instead of a door

Iv used 30mm stainless box screwed to top and bottom of the window to take the rail for the door.

    Worked fine
