Venue suggestions for birthday party

A friend & I are thinking of having a joint birthday party later this year & we’re looking for venues in Meath/ Kildare /Offaly…but we’re not having much luck finding a place.
We want somewhere that can accommodate 50+ people but with an easy going, house-party kind of vibe.

We’d like to be able to offer self-catering cottages or something so people can keep their costs down, but we’d consider other options too. We’d also like access to some sort of function room so we can drink & dance but the places we’ve contacted so far (hotels and guest houses) then want to talk about menus & seating & start treating the whole thing like a wedding! (and it’s definitely not a wedding)

Anyone know of places in these counties that might be more relaxed? We’ll consider anything that has the space and a bit of flexibility – hotels, GAA clubs, barns, camping grounds, etc.

    Cheers

Fergie's Bar in Tullamore is worth looking up, they have a nice area up stairs for party's. Give Fergie a ring 0868225365
