Hanging many photos at home

    Hi,
I have two walls at home that are empty and I plan to put up lots of photos. I've looked through Google images for inspiration/layout ideas and I know it's down to personal opinion and your environment but if you have a wall with many photos hung could you share a photo please?

What options are there besides framing everything with a 'proper' frame (frame & glass); in a mount? but that could look very cheap I'd imagine. Any other options that look good.

I'm not sure whether to put family photos on 1 wall and other photos on another or mix them. I'm thinking that different frame sizes would be better than all 1 size and spread around/not in exact columns and rows. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pa.

    Pinterest should have inspiring layouts

Thanks for the Pinterst tip- some great ideas there.

I know Google as a resource, even mentioned it myself but was wondering what other people here did.
Ribba Photo Shelves might be an option too, can put 8" by 12" photos straight on it without any framing and could look good.

what about printed wallpaper full of the images

not the cheapest thing in the world but would look cool

other is magnetic paint, then prints with small magnets holding them up

As you're very into photography maybe something like this?
It kinda looks like the way you hang photos to let them dry after developing them.

Thanks, that's a great idea. and it makes it very simple to change them.

Ellasnap - haven't used it myself (yet) but you can plan a wall using their app (you can possibly use the service to then order the canvas prints, but looks like that part may be US only).

Letmegooglethatforyou.com is funny, but on a serious note, that's the answer to almost every thread started on boards.ie. ;)
