I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of some good counsellors or psychotherapists in the county sligo area. Also if there reasonable with there rates that would be a big help As can't afford 60 or 70 euro a session.

Have you tried primary care, via your GP? Or HSE mental health services?

There are some agencies which provide counselling via supervised students which may be cheaper; there's also agencies like Jigsaw (depending on your age); and phone/Skype etc.

I'm not familiar with the area so maybe someone more local would know better.

No mention of individual therapist names though!! It's regarded as advertising. JC

Thanks for replying jc. I was seeing a psychologist through hse mental health services but she is on maternity leave and they haven't replaced her. There are aware meetings in sligo every week but was hoping for more one to one therapy. I will keep looking anyway.
