    Just came across this http://www.donedeal.ie/farmersnoticeboard-wanted/land-wanted-for-lease/9027894?offset=8

    not sure what to make of it, i have land to let at the min which would be within the 70 miles, but still about 40 miles away, why would anybody travel that far, and to be fair im not sure if i would want to rent land to someone who lives that distance away
    what do you all think

    Wonder what he wants it for?

    I do know of tillage lads that have land a good bit from home but would have big gear so would look to do it all in one go. Fella from kin sale had 100 ac rented up the road for a few years and that's 50 miles away

    He must have entitlements on land that he lost and needs land now to draw them down
    or else he's looking for naked land to get entitlements on

    Something to do with entitlements.
    He may have lost other ground and needs a home for them in a hurry.
    Probably too late for someone looking to establish under National Reserve.
