Engine warning light 2004 WV Polo

    Heya lads,

About 3 weeks ago I had to replace one of the engine coils on my Polo. A handy fix and it was back working perfectly.

Yesterday, about 600 miles later I had another orange engine warning light appear.

This time, the light came on at the end of a 40 mile motorway journey when the car was idle in traffic.
The engine chuddered for literally 4/5 seconds, before running fine again as the traffic eased.

Having left it overnight, the light was off this morning so I made the 80 mile commute to and from work, only for the exact same problem to happen again on the way home, in the same place, again when idle in traffic and for just a few seconds.

Any ideas what it could be? Engine seems to be running smoothly 99% of the time, unlike when the last coil needed to be replaced.

Hoping it's nothing to severe. :o

    Thanks
