Glass privacy

Hello,

On moving into a new house I've been assigned a room which was seemingly used as an office at one stage.

There's a two large glass panes in the wall which look directly into the room(removing all privacy). I've installed a blind along the wooden rim for the moment but it wouldn't drill properly and looks stupid anyway.

I was wondering if anyone knew a relatively cheap way without using a blind,to possibly frost the glass with a decal/paint it/cover it in a way that wouldn't permanently ruin it(Don't want to upset landlord).

Windowlene cream if you can find it or just whitewash or white emulsion might work.

There is a tape that can be applied to the windows that prevents anyone looking in while you can continue to look out. I've used it before but cannot remember it's name or where I got it. I think it was manufactured by 3m

Or this. Its quite opaque and will reduce the amount of light.

Both are put on with water and will peel off when you leave.
