Big Problem?

I have been in receipt of rent allowance for a number of years. It wasn't a lot as I work part time. Always provided any documents required etc. RA has now increased as I lost my lone parents. Again provided all documentation with no problems. However someone new has taken over and I was asked to provide more documents at a review which I did.

Got a letter today with a huge list of stuff to provide. Problem is I can't provide the information requested. Basically from my bank statements she can see that I have been out of the country on a few trips - I didn't know I was supposed to inform them! They want proof of how these were funded as well as proof of how my car was purchased etc. Now these were business trips with my boyfriend who is certainly not going to provide them with his bank statements. He also paid for most of my car!

She has stated that if I don't provide the information my payment will stop. My boyfriend doesn't live with me, doesn't even live in the same county. We have however been talking about moving in together. I'm just wondering if they stop my payment and he moves in will that be the end or will they still look for more information?

Your best plan here is total complete and frank honesty.
From what you've said here the worst crime you've committed so far is to go on holidays without telling them.
Bring the bank statements of course and answer all the questions with scrupulous honesty.
Then you'll just have to sit and wait I'm afraid.
