There's a lot more people using battery powered amps etc. I've noticed lately

My current setup consists of a Roland street cube, sm58, and a Hudson super jumbo acoustic guitar

I'd love to hear about any other peoples setup and how to get a better sound while busking with an amp.

Also I use a standard size microphone stand, but as it is my setup is hard to carry and transport on the bus
The stand is the most awkward thing because it's so long and won't fit in a bag
Everything else can go in a backpack besides the guitar
Could anyone recommend a shorter more portable stand, like a telescopic one or something?
