Irish air corps Competition 2015

I applied to the Irish air corps cadetship today, but it says are you 18 before the 1st of May 2015 and I am not 18 till the 13th of May. Do I not have a chance now?

Military.ie says:

Age Limitations
Be 18 years of age or above and under 28 years of age on the date deemed as the closing date for applications.

I'm afraid you do not meet the criteria required for a Cadetship.

You do have age on your side which is probably little consolation but you have the next ten years to apply for it should you really wish to join the Air Corps
