    Hi,
I need to travel from Littlepace to Ballymount Avenue, all the buses take one and half hour nearly which is really tough.
Any better plans? I dont drive and its on temporary basis so If i get a lift from someone to reach 9am and i finish there by 5pm only weekdays?

    is it safe enough?
I did look at maps that its the shortest time taking process but wondering the weather circumstances would not support all the time isnt it?

Dublin Bus route 70 + Luas is an option , but not particularly faster.

I'd look at going up the ongar road, over to castle knock, Phoenix park, out at chapelizod straight up the hill to kylemore road which goes straight onto the walkinstown roundabout.
You could turn right at long mile road, and up through robinhood industrial estate.

Coming back, the walkinstown roundabout is much less daunting on a bike, you've much better visibility on a bike, and you're just taking the first left.
And you can still go through robinhood

So, the traffic at the big roundabout at the end of the ongar road and getting to castleknock is the worst,
Once you're south side there are wide lanes or cycle lanes or little traffic
Phoenix park/auburn avenue is grand too

You could walk through from Littlepace to Huntstown and get the 39A...surely that would be better option than the 70.

27/77A/9 to Walkinstown Roundabout and 15 minute walk form there. The 0830 56A might get you there for 9am, but would probably be 0915.

The 70 is far quicker than the 39A, it operates non stop between Littlepace and Auburn Avenue. It's also every 10 minutes at peak times.

I check buses, need to take 2 at least so 70 will take 40mins again another bus including wait time could be more than 40mins and walk at least 15mins so instead of going through this hazzle as I need to be back by 6.30 to pick my child after I finish my work at 5.
I either choose bike or someone'lift
