Short answer: No, you can join at any time during the game.

Long answer: The new season is starting this Sunday, and all teams have a friendly each day up to then (apart from myself because I'm in the charity shield tomorrow evening as I won the cup (I'll stop bragging now! :pac:)) so if you want a friendly to try out your new team at least once before the season opener then apply either tomorrow or Saturday.

But really, you're more than welcome to join after that as well.

There are restricions if you dont have 50 boards post ... I think ur ok

if a big (any) team (really) becomes available, it is opened to existing managers to apply for it for 24hrs (based on their ingame manager rating - highest applicant has 24hr to accept the job after the initial 24hrs of applications complete or it goes to the next in line) before going to new managers.

All teams with the exception of Liege are available for more than 24hrs so are all fair game to you
