On the Dole but my doctor says I need to be on Illness Benefit

So my doctor says that she doesn't think I am able to work even if I got a job (Currently on Jobseekers) but I'm confused as to how this switch works. Anyone have any info or experiences of changing from Dole to Illness Benefit
