Would you wean a pet lamb off one bag do you think? Maybe if it was a couple of weeks old when you got it?

We've successfully reared lambs off one bag in the past but they'd have been eating creep feed meal too. If the lamb is a couple of weeks old and healthy I'd say definitely.

I hope someone from dairygold sees that. Charged me €17.50 a bag last time I bought some there.
    Separately
The one product I always find overpriced is the lamb colostrum. Hope that will come down as well.

Think I paid €25 for a 200g tub of colostrum, expensive is right.

I don't know what possible ingredients are in it to justify the price we pay for it.

If it's proper and enough antibodies it would be.

I'll have to check it later on. Too many figures floating around in my head.

Was in Glanbia just now in Ashford. The price they quoted me was 16 Euro. They said the 12.80 must be an online only price?!

I've a little camping stove in the tunnel, so I can heat up water that way, it's a great little job as I don't have electrikery yet.

Is the microwave recommended, I was always told not to microwave real colostrum,
I know you have to thaw it very slowly and definitely not boil it

no its not, there was a bit left in the end of the bottle that was cold so i put it in microwave to heat it up for an older lamb to finish off
