Front door canopy ideas

Hi,
Our front door is flat with rest of the house with no porch or canopy. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get some advice on canopy designs and indeed construction?

Canopy would look out of place and awkward there in my opinion.
Might be nice to see a small glass flat panel coming out off the front of the house.

Not a full porch no. Just a panel of glass over the door with some nice fixings. If it's just a small shelter you want when opening the door etc.

Something like this but a design that suits you/your house.
