Does Pokémon count as a game? Seeing as they're all basically rehashes.

If not, then mine would be Ratchet and Clank 3

Dark souls. The community it created, the level design, the feeling of complete loneliness and hopelessness when playing and the feeling of success when you achieve something - you feel like you have earned it. Then there is the story, I could go on for hours.....

So tough to choose one. I'd say in the past 10 years I'd have to go for either The Last of Us or Fallout 3. TLOU just ticked so many boxes for me, while I got lost in Fallout 3.

Thinking back to my childhood though Ocarina of Time gives me a magical feeling that no other game evokes.

Even though the graphics are pretty rough by today's standards, I still love Metal Gear Solid. The atmosphere and playability are still intact as ever.

Definitely TimeSplitters 2. I don't think I played anything else in the 6 months after I first got it and I still go back to it when I get the chance. The one game I've never gotten even slightly bored of.

Morrowind. Its got everything you need in a game and with mods it can look decent. Wish I was at home so I could play.

    First off that's cheating.

Secondly it would have to be Goldeneye on N64 for me.

Theres obviously been huge advances in the FPS genre over the years but it was ground breaking at the time and brought so many of us together for local multiplayer the likes of which we'll probably never see again. :-(

For me that would be a different question.

ie... What game have you lost stupid amounts of hours of your life to?

Championship Managet 01/02 or 00/01 I can't remember which one but seriously.... Unhealthy for ones life.

Hard to pick but i'd probably go with Baldur's Gate 2 or System Shock 2. I've played through both of them numerous times, and still enjoy them as much now as i did 10-15 years ago.
