    Hi
I have a dress I need to return for an exchange at lindybop.

Anyone have any idea how much it will cost to return it?

Would I be better off keeping it and getting it altered here?

It's the bust area that is too big.

    Thanks.

:( Oh noo.. it was such a nice dress!
I think you should try to get it altered here first if it is not a big job.

If you are returing I have a link below for anpost standard rates

I think it would cost about €20 judging by that :-( I'm always gobsmacked by the costs AnPost charge.

It's just the top really, my boobs aren't big enough! I've never gotten anything altered before (embarrassed?!) but I'm sure this wouldn't be a big job.

I sent a picture to my mum (it wasn't a great picture as couldn't get a right one) but I don't know that she seemed too keen. It's put a dampener on things now :-(

Would any expert here know if that dress can be easily altered or would I be just wasting my time?

Could you post a link to the dress you are talking about? It is hard to advise without seeing it.

If it is the Ophelia - it seems to be designed to look best on massive racks! I barely fill mine out.

Maybe that's the case rain bow . I ordered a size 20 going by measurements but maybe an 18 would have been better. I have D boobies so not sure how much bigger they would need to be to fill it!!!!!!!!

I think it favours G+ - I'm a 30G and my size 12 has both boob and waist room.

Thank you. Maybe I need to just return it then :-( Regardless of the cost.

You could try to sell it online yourself if postage was proving too much. Just an idea :)

You could try an alterations place, they may be able to alter or make suggestion to change it to your liking.

Got a down filled coat a while ago. Asked here and did online search re alterations. Was a non runner by all accounts. Decided to try my alterations place anyway. She did it no bother. No expensive returns for me, and alteration was v.reasonable also. Got to keep my lovely new coat. I'm a convert now to getting things altered. Has opened up more options on shopping front too knowing there's nearly always a way. I would've been a bit shy about getting stuff done until my coat experience.

Basically I'm saying chance asking those in the business you might be surprised.
    Nice dress btw.

You can use Parcel Motel to return items. Not too sure of the cost but might be worth checking out!

It was only €5.30 so wasn't too bad.

Parcel motel is more expensive for posting to the UK. I checked it already.
