Whatcha doin' in the sunshine? Are you having a 99? Or walking on the beach? Or having a picnic?

    Whatcha doin'?

    I'm working - boooooooooooooo

But on my lunch I sat in the grass and a read my book and a little worm came and said hello and I think he was a book worm (or a kindle worm cos this is the 21st century innit). I might have ice cream later.

I am working really hard today. Honestly.
But need to get a canopy for the picnic table in the garden as the glare on my laptop makes it unreadable...

I'm trying not to look out the window.

I'm actually cold, it looks like a lovely day outside but it's freezing in here.

Working for another 1.5 hours - but enjoyed the sunshine at lunchtime by going for a walk.

But when I get home, oh, can't wait for it. There's pottering around to be done in the garden, and playing with the cats, and maybe going for a nice cycle by the sea.

    :)

Just back from lunch, got myself a 99, first one of the year :)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Went for a walk at lunch. I'm now sitting at my desk and it feels like I've got cold, wet teabags stuck to my armpits

Stick some dry teabags there and it'll soak it right up

Way ahead of you. But that only soaks up the moisture and does nothing for the smell.

That's where the instant coffee granules come in handy.

I'm hiding indoors from it, but our cats love rolling around in the sun. They're all meepy and content.:) Speaking of sunshine and warmth, don't forget to leave some water out for the wildlife.

And are the wildlife going to pay for this precious water? It doesn't fall from the sky, you know! (Well, not today anyway...)

Well, who's the fancy-schmancy ScumLord?!? Windows? I don't even have a wall that is attached directly to an outside wall! And I'm shivering too. I think I'm dehydrated.

Loving the garden, loving the sun, loving the whole earth today. Going to eat outdoors for third time this week, hang nightlights in the garden. Happy days and nights.
Eat drink and revel, my friends; soon it will rain again, so carpe diem.

Nice doesn't belong in the same sentence as Riesling.

In fairness the Kiwis do knock out some quite elegant white wines. They show far more taste and refinement than their Australian cousins, who, with only a few exceptions, tend to knock out vulgar red wines with all the character and depth of a Fair City extra.

Might pop open a bottle of Carl Ehrhard Rudesheimer berg Rottland Riesling myself now with all this talk of wine.

Absolutely preposterous statement. Gone are the days of Blue Nun. German wineries are producing some of the world's finest white wines using the reisling grape.
