    Hello,

I failed yesterday, mistake on my part hence immediately applied when came back.
Have opted for cancellation, would anyone know how long beafore I hear back.
The confirmation stated that within 10 days.
But just want an approximate how long before I can take the test.

Hey, same thing happened to me last week. Failed and rebooked 30 mins later.

I first booked March 2nd, heard nothing for three weeks - called them and had a date 4 days later.

Failed that, rebooked, called again and have one for Monday week.

So yeah, phone them up and just ask if there's any cancellations at your centre (was loads when I called but do you think they bother to tell anyone?)

    the number is 1890406040

Definitely call them. Failed it and reapplied for a cancellation online and it was 4 weeks before I got another date.

Not sure if this will help, but when I failed mine I just emailed them and told them that I needed to get my licence for work. They got back to me later that day with a test day for the following week. Ringing them is also good, but if you tell them you need it for work they find you a date really quickly.

Forgot about that number! Goes to the same place but is only charged as a local call (usually free from a landline depending on your package).

Thanks all very much. I called them and got the date for next week.
Hopefully I pass this time :(

    Ring them.

From dealing with some of the systems in use, they are not real time to the public, but realtime to the administration staff.

As above, there is the old "I need it for work" which they seem to respond to best in terms of putting you in for cancellations. But definitely the phone route is best, as they can give you specifics right there and then.

The automated response can take 4-6 weeks with a new date. Ring them with a "need it for work" you can probably get another one lined up within that timeframe.

Best of luck! I did my second one yesterday in Rathgar and passed :)

You've probably heard it loads like I did, but check over where you went wrong on the email and pay attention to them as much as you can! And don't be like me, don't forget to check your mirrors every 15-20 seconds! The tester pointed it out to me and said I had to work on it!

Thank you very much nimrod... I hoping to pass as well.
I hope I have improved more and wont make a silly mistake like before.
