Handbrake light not working. Nct fail?

Can anyone clear this up, had my nct last week, failed on a few small things but one of them was handbrake light not coming on when handbrake is engaged. I've had a look through the nct manual and can't see anything about it. Can anyone clear this up? Thanks

Yes I believe any warning lights on your dash dont work correctly then its a fail and the handbrake would be one of them.

Parking brake light malfunction is in with abs lights etc, page 90ish.

Ah ok, thanks guys. It's an auto to manual conversion so not just as easy as changing a bulb!!!
