Want to get a bottle of pond dye to use in sprayer as a marker.
any I try to buy off amazone or eBay I can't buy.
anyone know where I can buy some online or in a store somewhere?
Magenta have stuff but it only does 500l

I think Magenta are aiming at guys like myself who go spot spraying with a knapsack & usually do some weeds 4 times and miss all the ones surrounding it :rolleyes:

I sprayed round-up with knapsack at weekend and missed loads.

How about a dye for Hydraulic oil ? wonder if it would work in water, they use it in golf courses to show up small leaks on machines so it does not destroy the grass

Is that harmful to livestock? Milking cows will be grazing this so don't want anything coming through into milk

Google Blazon spray indicator, used for spraying in golf courses, connot put up a link as I havent enough posts. We use this for boom and spot spraying, good blue colour. NAD in Blakes cross Dublin would be a stockist.

I emailed them to see if it's safe to use with livestock

Google parcel motel and sign up you will get UK address northern Ireland and will be dropped to parcel motel box at your nearest town for around 3 euro often free shipping to UK address
It might sound completed but its very simple once signed up which is free.
A very handy service to get stuff from UK or couriers who can't find us country folk cause we have no post code

Greengrass, would you not consider buying a blobber? Would work for both spraying and spreading fertiliser. Pure bitch spreading either on a bare field. Will probably get one myself this year. Around 300 I think.

Ah I'm hoping to buy gps in the fall so don't want to go to that expense.
can get decent gps now for 1200 quid

I have seen a sprayer app on Google play store
Which is supposed to show what you have covered through GPS on your phone
Don't know if its any good or not

Its called farm sprayer GPS and it 5 euro there are probably others too might be worth a chance but I'd say the GPS would ate phone battery if it wasn't plugged in.
Let me know if its any good if anybody tries it for the next time I am spraying

I found a free app for android, it.s called farm traks.. it just records where you have been with the spreader.. handy to see where you finished up to return to.. haven't soley depended on it yet tbh!

Re dye, I took so food colorant from the kitchen press for the knapsack last year. Worked the finest!

Only does 500 l and is about 18e a bottle.

I've 16 ac to spray next 2 weeks and have ocean of docks after emerging every where with the K rising

I tried red food dye before and it did not work at all with the garden 5 litre sprayer
