Hi all, as above, are these difficult to access once battery is removed? Noticed a lot of water accumulated under my battery. I'm guessing the drains are blocked. Can they be easily cleaned?
    Thanks

They're the same as in my 02 Audi.

Once the battery is out, you'll see two rubber bungs. Best thing to do
is to remove these altogether and you should be good to go. Just make
sure the two drain holes are completely clear.

Done the same with my a4 recently, easy job except one of the rubber groomets is hidden under a bracket when yo remove the battery. Audi issued a recall and will do this free of charge..might be the same with VW

Job done, removed battery and battery tray, 1 drain underneath was blocked with gunge, another drain under servo blocked also, can just about be reached with finger tips. Thanks again.
