Sourcing School Experience Placement- Dublin

Hi All,

I am completing a Post-Graduate course in Primary Education and we have to find our own schools for School Experience (formally known as Teaching Practice). However, I am facing a lot of schools who don't take on Student Teachers anymore. Just wondering does anyone know is there somewhere where I can get a list of schools that take student teachers on? Or if anyone could Private Message me with school names that they know definitely take or are willing to take students on in Dublin. Thanks

I very much doubt such a list exists, can your college not give you some guidance on this?

Yes I have got a list of co-operating placements from the college but the majority are outside of Dublin. So I'm just trying to source if I can get a Dublin Placement before I would contact any of the other schools, or have to move or rent somewhere else down the country.

When I did it, it was a case of trekking around all the local schools with a CV and a smile, definitely never heard tell of a magical list like that!
