Has anyone used this yet, I have been using this for our frozen themed cakes, works a treat and really easy to use. but really want to start some crazy designs, any ideas??

I usually use it for caramel decorations for desserts, pulled and spun sugar, it's chemical structure mean it stops caramel crystallising and is less likely to take in moisture.

Ideas wise if you add a little blue colouring and pour it onto some scrunched up tinfoil it looks fantastic as water.

Also for a sea themed cake, sprinkle some salt onto some ice cubes in a bowl, pour on melted isomalt and allow the ice to melt and you will be left with a product that looks like sea coral

Another idea is gently rub some powdered colouring into the isomalt, sprinkle it on a silpat mat, put another mat and tray on top and cook at about 160oC for about 15 minutes, take off the top tray and allow to cool. You should be left with a a thin glass like sheet

    Hope this helps :)
