A Mapfre type warranty is nothing to shout about. These type of warranties are more like insurance policies where if you have an issue you have to deal with a third party and the dealer washes their hands of it. They tend to benefit the dealer more than the buyer. Read the the terms and conditions very careful as these warranties can have lots of little surprises in the form of exclusions on what is and what is not covered.
