Easier train a dog than fly that perverted contraption.
Brings new meaning to privacy laws and snooping by some nosey bastard wanting to spy on the neighbours or frighten stock that wouldn't be used to that thing.lol

That thing is not driving the sheep, it's worrying them ,and we all know what happens to sheep worriers !
I wonder which would put the most fear in the transient, transit driving gate sellers , a good dog or a drone ?

Definitely not the end of the sheepdog - fun toy to play with though if you wanted to keep an eye on where your animals were though, now and again, if you were a hill farmer and liked remote control toys. Other than that, too many limitations - I'd imagine that anything other than a fine day would play havoc with it.

Privacy would be the bigger concern though - I doubt that anybody would b happy to see this flying over the back of their property, particularly with a camera attached, and it wouldn't be long before the shotgun would be coming out of the cabinet to bring it back down to earth.

You might be surprised to find that some of them can actually fight back. They might be quicker on the draw than you too. :D

It definitely wouldn't want to be a windy day, alright.

It would be handy for checking heat in cows after dinner or last thing at night, if the camera was good enough quality. Stick on the kettle, grab the remote and by the time the kettle is boiled, you could be checking heats or at least seeing if one is on heat to go and check her out.

To be fair, I think those ones might be rated for a bit more than just checking on the cattle... :D
