Thermostat on my dryer broke (its gone open circuit).

    This text is written on it - 36fxe14 20214 L125c 81046

Does anyone know what would be a compatible part?
Searching for 36fxe14 gives me L175C - which Im guessing is for a different temperature?

    ta.

    Found out more about it.

Its a one shot thermal cutoff. Supposed to open at 125c and never reset.
There is a second in in series thats opens/closes as you describe.

Cannot find a direct replacment anywhere. The official response is you need buy a whole heater module thats its attached to :/

    Thanks anyway.
