calf rearing

Hi everyone a cow of mine had a calf four weeks ago,everything was ok but after a week we sold the cow due to age etc,we started to feed the calf with milk replacer,the calf drank fine but developed scour the scour is treated now but the calf doesn't want to drink very much and is very thin and not gaining weight even from day one she was never a lively calf,she is drinking about 4 to 5 litres a day.any ideas

Yogurt milk will clear up the scour and get the calf thriving.

would you have being over feeding the calf, that caused the scour.

At first was overfeeding but now us undercontrol,just not a lively animal where would I get this yogurt for them?

You need milk and yogurt. It could be done with milk replacer also it would work best with a skim based replacer.
