roof on with new lamps , trying to sort out the rats nest that is the wiring now , its a wild mess with lots of previous butchering and hacking done to it , someone tried to bypass a lot of relays and switches and left a real fire hazard after them , im trying to get her as near back to original as i can with a new isolation switch fitted .

glass all in , wiring all done , shes on the button now with all original gauges and switches re-instated and working like they should , gave her a full service all oils and filters and filled her with pure coolant , also we are starting to put some of the red bits back on her and i managed to get original replacement seat cushions for her ( pics to follow when they are out of the box ) , nearly there now bonnet on next and she will start looking like a tractor again .

Unbelieveable work! It looks like it rolled off the production line in the factory. I wish I could find somebody like you to restore my old MF65.

Are you a mechanic by trade or are you self taught?

Love all your threads. Keep them coming.

Excellent work. Whatever it cost the owner it is money well spent, especially on his own machine, he knows what he has.

spent the day yesterday stripping and rebuilding a 3 ton mini digger for a man , she needed all new pins and bushings in the arm and bucket , some of them were a bit tricky but i think she came out well and a lot of the play and wear is gone , he want us to paint it in the near future so i will start a new thread when we start ,some pics .

Fresh looking machine but did she have a bit of trauma to the base of the boom?

And an edit, what is that hurdy gurdy in the background of the first pic? Looks like a cross between an old hay rake and a tram???

started our next project this week while the shed is quiet , our work horse transit tipper has been getting very crispy lately and the sills are shot so we got stuck in and got a new set made , we are going to give her the full works and hopefully have her ready for the DOE next month .

While I would never regard myself particularly as a fan of tractors, I love your posts and the work you do. I love to see anything old, worn out and getting past it's sell by date, brought back from the brink and saved to live another day/lifetime.

    Keep up the great work.
