Do they ask to do all technical checks? Rules of the road booklet states

    "Secondary controls and technical checks
Work the secondary controls, such as windscreen wipers and washers,
demisters, rear window heater, lights and air-conditioning, fans, rear foglights,
    air vents and temperature control.
Demonstrate technical checks such as air pressure and the condition of tyres,
oil, fuel, windscreen washer fluid level, coolant, brakes (including handbrake),
steering, lights, indicators, reflectors and horn."

I dont know the second paragraph at all i.e. air pressure and the condition of tyres, oil, fuel, windscreen washer fluid level, coolant,

Woudl they ask me to show all the above?

So you will be asked a random bunch of "show me tell me" questions from that list. So outside the car under the hood they may ask: how would you check the oil level? / How would you check the washer fluid level? - you simply point and say how to check you don't actually do it

Then inside the car you will be asked some extra questions, e.g. how would you demist the front window / how would you turn on the hazard lights?

They're very simple steps so it's best to know all of them - but no you won't be asked all of them
