    Hi,

Is there a decent shop that lets you try on gear somewhere in south Dublin (say somewhere you can reach from Bray by car in <1h)? I'm looking for decent boots and waterproof trousers.

    Thanks!

Thank you, I'll try Crescent Sports. Sportsden would be great, but it's a bit far for me.

It seems crescent sports is gone. We were driving past it last saturday and the shop looked completely cleared out. Didn't bother to park and see what exactly is happening as there wasn't any place to park nearby.

Try Dma sports in Ashford, he's a good bit of stock, Or john Lambert in Camolin is worth a visit, but ring both first to check there opening times and to see if they have what you need,

    Hi,

It's big and very commercial, but Range River Mountain is worth a visit, if only for a look around. I suspect much of whats on offer might be sourced cheaper on the net, but if your looking for somewhere with clothes you can try on etc. then this may suit you.

Address is: Unit 4 The Areana Complex, Kiltipper Way, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (across the road from the football stadium)

    Telephone: 01 5240345

    Website: www.rrm.ie

    Thanks,

    G.

It was still there when I walked into it last week.
