'Leis an' or 'don'??

    Hello!!
    I want to say as gaeilge: 'when they were waiting for the flight', but I don't know whether to use 'don' or 'leis an'??

    Nuair a bhi siad ag fanacht leis an/don eitilt?? Thanks for your help!!

    “to wait for“ is “fanacht le (rud)“ -> so: “Nuair a bhí siad ag fanacht leis an eitilt“
