White muscle disease in year old hogget

    Hey I have a hogget with white muscle disease symptoms. She has an arched back and is stiff on her hind legs and is kind of scuffling when walking.

    Will a hogget that old get it and can I treat her with a selenium injection from the local coop or do I need to go to vet to get something

    I'd be inclined to call vet to make certain it is white muscle disease. I believe the selenium injection can kill if overdone. If it's what you think she'll need vitamin E too.
