Starting to study for this. Been away from IT security for a long time. Never worked in the area.
Currently i work full time doing on-site support for a pharamacutical company.
Has anyone did this cert working full time?
Also would this be enough to get me in the door with a company here in Ireland.

There is a massive shortage of Pen Testers so even not having this cert will get you in the door if you tailor your CV correctly. I hope to start it in a few weeks.

Going by your posts you won't find this remotely as difficult as myself.
Ya i heard they are crying out for them. The CEH cert is a joke. That's why i'm aiming at this particular one. How mcuh lab time are you buying?

Hoping to do this myself during the summer. Going to go for 90 days, think that should be enough.
I do see more and more jobs advertising for pen testers. Salaries seem to vary widely though.
