Previous tenant used his bins for storage rather than rubbish and I have found an engine in one of them. Is there any scrap value in it or should I put it in the skip? Its a Renault 1.6l k electronic injection

Catch 22 here. is it any good? Can you start it to prove to someone its good.?
If it was good it would be worth a few quid but the fact it was taken out of a car and stored in a bin says to me it was probably taken out for a reason do i reckon its scrap

If you could manage to move it, then get it weighed for scrap.
