The original radio does not work but when I took it out. I see that there is not much to it . The aerial cable the earth cable .. And the power and speaker cable that's it. The speaker and power cables have plastic divides so half these cables can be taken off. But can modern harness be got to connect onto the old wiring and plug into the new radio.

Motor factors will sell a short harness with suitable plug for your radio, then just bring a live from either the ignition switch or fuse box. Put a blade type fuseholder in line in this feed. Use as low amp a fuse as possible. Solder all connections, and use heat shrink tubing over the soldered joints. Google these terms.
