I picked up a set today off a friend hardley any use . He was using campag and I'm on shimano so I got a free hub fitted today but the problem is when free wheeling there is no ratchet noise which I love , theres nothing at all??? Any ideas

I would imagine its been re-asembled with too much or the wrong kind of lube,you need very light grease or i use a few drops of engine oil
