    Hi all,

I work for security, im 21 years old and i live alone. MY Mother lives 1000s miles away and my father about 20 minute drive.

I have this couple at work, Pam and John. They have been off on holiday the past four days and i can honestly say i miss pam more than i should!

she is 57 years old and i tell her everything, i mean everything, she helps me, advises me and supports me. She calls me her adopted son! haha...

My question to you is why do i miss her that much i feel down? i feel i need to talk to her or see her......

    any ideas?

    Because you're close to her?

You can miss somebody without having a crush on them.

Unless you're sexually attracted to her or in love with her, don't stress. Sounds like she's just a lovely woman who's taken you under her wing.

My guess is that you're a little lonely and Pam has become a sort of mother figure to you. We all need someone to unload to from time to time and Pam has become that to you. I bet you don't have anyone else in your life at the moment who you can turn to in the way you can with Pam, right?

Because she's your friend and maybe a surrogate Mum. It's grand, you are lucky to have her!
