I know this has been covered but id like a couple opinions as of today .
Firstly I bought an 84 English reg Capri from Irish owner, when I rang for vrt test I was told I might have to pay extra because it has been in the country awhile.
Surely I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's mistake?is there any other legal way around this?
    Thanks in advance

Once you have a receipt(hand written will do) with the date you bought it you are only responsible for Vrt from that date even at that penalties are 0.02% per day
