Gift card with money on it

    Is there any card you can get as a present with money on it without having to register? Like the dunnes stores card but that it can be used anywhere.

    In Dunnes you can get a gift card say of 20 euro, the recipient then has 20 euro credit in Dunnes. I want a card like that but one that can be used anywhere/online. No good if a card like 02 is regd to me.

    Every shop have different policies so you can't expect to use it anywhere

    Some shopping centres do cards that can be used in all the stores in that shopping centre. I am not sure if you have to register it though.

    Dundrum gift card desk sell Perfect Cards which are prepaid mastercards. Works anywhere mastercard is accepted.

    I used 3v plenty of times before I got my debit card. I never had any hassle with it. I am not sure why there is the delay. Just one thing to bear in mind with 3v is that when using it on paypal they normally deduct a small amount (under a euro when I last used it, it is returned in a few days) so it is worth baring in mind if you are buying things immediately.
