Finding value of old Bank of Ireland bonds

I'm am trying to find out the value of some old Bank of Ireland 13 3/8 per cent unsecured perpetual subordinated bonds I was left by my father. I have the bond certificate but there's no value on it. I live in the US and most of the brokers here don't deal with the UK bond market.

Any other ideas? Appreciate any leads... or who to contact at the Bank of Ireland - they have not responded to my email request.
    Thanks

from a quick google it looks like the registrar for this is Capita Registrars. I'd suggest contact them in the first instance.

Can I ask are you looking to value these for probate? If not, and these were already valued by the executor of the will, maybe ask the executor how they valued the bond.

also this is the ISE listing page. If you look through it you can see some of the dealer managers for the issue.

For some reason, I can't paste in a screen shot for you, but today, these bonds are trading at 191 pence each. This isn't surprising given the extremely high coupon rate of 13 3/8%, and the very low interest rate environment.

Capita will probably be able to arrange for a broker to buy them for you.

Davys will sell them for you. I know someone who said a 4.45 2010 Government bond maturing in a few years with a face value of 10k is for sale at 12.4k with davys

Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions - I had done most of those, but strangely, the bond value was never evident - even on the capita registra site. However, they kindly sent me a link to the LSE with the bond, so I was able to see the value. They are very different from American bonds, so it's all very confusing! I see they aren't worth much now after all the trouble the bank has been through, but my Dad originally paid 1000 pounds for them, so I guess I'd be better hanging on to them for the dividends!

    Appreciate everyone's advise!
