I currently have a Corsair Carbide 300r with the following specs

    MSI Gaming 5,
    R9 290X Tri-X Card
    1 SSD,
1 3.5" (hopefully getting at least 1 more HDD soon for storage)
    Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo
    RM 650 Power supply

but I'm looking for something much smaller & a bit less boring. Has anyone got any suggestions for a small ATX case?

I was actually looking into this recently. Since switching back to air cooling I don't need a massive case for radiators any more. A very nice one I found is Silverstone's FT05.

It's slightly wider, slightly taller, but quite a bit less deep. Honestly, I don't think you're going to get much smaller than that (or indeed, your current case, depending on what dimensions you're looking to shrink) without moving to mATX or ITX.
